According to Imron, Head of West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept., inundation that hit Jalan Patra is triggered by the overflowing waters of the Kebun Raya Connecting Channel.
SDA Dept. Asked to Accelerate Inundation Handling"Stationary pumps at the channel are not able to suck up water into Sekretaris River. Thus the water spilled out and flooded Jalan Patra," he stated, Monday (11/13).
His side also has alerted five mobile pumps with 150-200 liters per second in order to suck up inundation on Jalan Patra.
To solve it totally, his side makes a 12 x 4-meter collapsible pond as deep as four meters and installs two stationary pumps with 1,000 liters per second capacity.
